Jenkins Signs is owned and operated by Joe and Beth Jenkins of Spout Spring, Virginia. Joe and Beth are originally from the Tidewater area. They were transferred to Lynchburg for Joe's work in 1994. They purchased a house and moved to Spout Spring, located in Appomattox County, Virginia, in 1995. After raising two children until able to attend school, Beth decided to open a business in 2001 doing what she loved, creating signs and attractive lettering.

Jenkins Signs began as a home based business later adding an office trailer and using her husband's two car garage. Since then business has steadily increased, mostly by word of mouth. With business expanding they started construction of a 40' x 40' two story shop with a bay large enough to accommodate dump trucks, tractor trailers, etc. The new shop should be completed some time around the end of 2009.  Most customers are returning customers, many have become good friends of Joe and Beth and their helpers.

UPDATE  4/16/10- Our shop is almost done....2 more weeks and we should be in the new office! Be sure to stop by , see our new shop and let us help you with any of your signage and graphic needs.  We're sure you will be one of our return customers! 

Beth gets her skills from her father, Lew Morrison, who operates a sign business in Churchville, Va. (formerly of Staunton and Gloucester, Va.) Beth was his right-hand-kid from the age of 10 until her late teens and then some. Computers were not much a part of the sign business back then, everything was done by hand, which required a great deal of work!

Directions- " Just off the beaten path on the west side of Appomattox.

From Appomattox Food Lion / Kroger on 460-West (heading to Lynchburg)....
Go apprx. 5 miles, turn left on to Reedy Spring Rd.- Route 648 (across from "Frank's Place"). Go under the railroad tracks past Mt. Shiloh Church (not even a 1/4 mile) - take first gravel rd. on left - Susie Alice Dr, we will be the third driveway on the left - follow the fence down to the shop.

From Concord light on 460-East (heading to Appomattox)...
Go approx 4 miles, turn right on to Reedy Spring Rd. - Rt. 648 (just past "460 Storage". Go under the railroad tracks past Mt. Shiloh Church (not even a 1/4 mile) - take first gravel rd. on left -Susie Alice Dr., we will be the third driveway on the left - follow the fence down to the shop.
